HeatShield Panels Quick and Easy Floor Heat Protection

The HeatShield Panel is a revolutionary floor insulation and heating product that does not require a top coat while optimizing heat cable performance. When combined with ComfortTile floor heating cables, HeatShield Panels provide the perfect solution for quick and easy installation of electric floor heating under wood or laminate floors. The combination of an insulating subfloor and a heat-conducting surface ensures maximum heat reflection.

The floor heating panels consist of insulated aluminum plates that easily snap together across the length of the floor. The panels have pre-cut grooves for the heating cable, ensuring accurate spacing and allowing you to use the same heating cables you know and love without the use of mortar and thinset.

Advanced Electric Radiant Floor Heating System

With no need for a mortar layer, HeatShield Panels cut installation time in half. Warmzone contractors already using HeatShield Panels reported that they were able to lay down 300 square feet of floor heating in under two hours, putting traditional radiant floor heating installation methods to shame. The panels also ensure proper cable spacing, optimizing the efficiency of the floor heating system.

Warmzone products are known for their easy installation, but the HeatShield Panels take easy installation to a whole new level. All you have to do is lay the insulation panels down and snap them together, using a small locking key (as shown in the top picture of the column on the right).

Place the heating cable in the grooves provided and then install your new flooring. For custom shaped rooms, the HeatShield Panel can easily be cut with a standard table saw or jig saw.

Possibly the greatest benefit HeatShield Panels have to offer is that the insulation is built into the aluminum plates/panels, allowing for maximum heat distribution and efficiency. The aluminum panels create a barrier between the subfloor and the new floor, reflecting the heat directly up into the room where you can enjoy it. This is a huge improvement over traditional radiant floor heating methods that allow heat to escape down into the subfloor. Additionally, because of the aluminum construction of the HeatShield insulation, it acts as a giant radiator, radiating heat evenly and efficiently across the room while maximizing energy.

HeatShield Panels are so efficient that you typically only have to run your floor heating system for a short period of time, which further saves you money. HeatShield floor heating insulation panels offer a perfectly green, efficient home-heating option.
