Roof Deicing Options

If you are in need of a roof deicing system, you have ventured to the right place. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible radiant heating options, then help you select the one that will best meet your needs and fit within your budget. Depending on the size of the area you wish to heat and the application, there are a few different available options, each of which can be customized to meet your specific needs:
  • Gutter Melting - Radiant roof heating and ice melting cables can be used to melt ice in gutters, protecting the structural integrity of your roof. Existing roofs can easily be retrofitted with these heating cables to prevent icicles, ice buildup, and ice dams. Learn more about radiant roof heating and roof deicing.

  • Heat roof edges - This is the most common application for our roof deicing systems. Radiant heating element is installed to cover the roof eaves to prevent icicles from forming.

  • Heat roof valleys and problem areas - Every roof is different and therefore has dissimilar locations where ice dams and icicles form. Our roof deicing systems are versatile and can heat almost any size or shaped area to fix ice buildup on roofs and prevent potential damage.

  • Heat your entire roof - Eliminate the accumulation of snow and ice by heating your entire roof. This is not a very common application, but definitely possible and very effective. On some flat roofs, this can be extremely beneficial because it eliminates snow and ice buildup and prevents roofs from being damaged or caving in because of too much weight.
