Warmzone Radiant Snow Melting System

Warmzone Snow Melting System Includes:

Heating Cable - The ClearZone snow melting system uses a high quality and very durable cable that can withstand nature's worst conditions. The heat cable is UL listed and consists of a high quality nickel chrome wire covered with XLPE insulation, a continuous copper grounding conductor surrounded by a metal jacket for mechanical protection, and an outer extruded PVC covering. The cable is rated at 170° F and has a minimum 10-year warranty. The cable is designed to produce 30+ watts per square foot and is the quickest snow melting system on the market.

Control Unit - The Warmzone master control units are NEMA 1, UL listed, wall-mounted control boxes. The UL listing ensures that the snow melting system meets the safety requirements, and therefore does not void any existing residential fire insurance policies. It is the only unit of its kind on the market.

The unit also features extension units, depending on the size and demands of the heated driveway or snow melting application.

The controls include line and load terminal blocks and operating contactors. Every control unit comes equipped with a 4-hr timer for manual operation. The ClearZone cable is installed in concrete, asphalt, or under pavers.

Activation Device - Warmzone snow melting systems come standard with an aerial-mounted snow switch. This highly sophisticated device automatically turns on the snowmelt system and has several notable features, including adjustable temperature trigger point, adjustable delay off cycle, upgradeable remote activation, and it is smart system compatible. The pavement-mounted snow switch is available for all systems but is mainly used in commercial applications. With these devices, the Warmzone systems are fully automated and will turn on whenever it snows. The 4-hr timer on the control unit acts as a manual backup in case the wind blows snow on the driveway or ice forms due to wind or shade.
