Warmzone cable systems for melting ice and snow in gutters and on roofs are controlled by gutter-mounted, automatic switches. These automatic sensors are activated when moisture and low temperatures are present. These controllers are used to obtain maximum performance out of the ice melting cables. The systems are only turned on when necessary, thus conserving energy and money.
