Danfoss LX heating cables are the main component of an electric radiant floor heating system designed to enhance the comfort of any living space. This floor warming system is suitable for tile, stone, and concrete applications.
Floors in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and other living areas are ideal. Danfoss LX cables provide an efficient means of comfort and room heating,
and reduces the transmission of dust, allergens and other airborne particulate matter.
The LX radiant heat system is silent, efficient electric floor heating
that is typically lower in cost than forced air systems.
The LX system consists of thermostat-controlled heating cables fitted
under the floor surface. No custom sizes are necessary, as all adjustments of cable spacing and coverage can be made on-site. This twin conductor cable matched with long-lasting materials enables the Danfoss LX cable to withstand the harshest conditions. Danfoss LX
floor heating cables have ground fault (GFCI) protection and emit no measureable electromagnetic fields (EMF).
Tile setters prefer this system because it is durable and does not raise the floor height
noticeably. Danfoss LX systems come complete with a GFCI protected thermostat and LX
strapping to secure and properly space the heating cable. These cables have been harnessed with a convenient single lead to simplify the
floor heating installation and final hookup. Danfoss LX cables are UL/CSA approved
and have a 10-year manufacturer warranty. |

Danfoss LX Thermostat |

The Danfoss LX series electronic thermostats are specifically designed to control electric radiant heating systems for maximum comfort and minimum power consumption. The system temperature is controlled by an external or built-in sensor.
Each thermostat also includes an integrated Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI, Class A). The thermostat and the GFCI is a dual model suitable for 120/240V and has an external temperature sensor that is normally placed under the floor covering. The thermostat has two adjustable set points, one for preferred daytime operation and one for a nighttime setback temperature.
