ComfortTile Radiant Heat
Cable in Mats
ComfortTile floor heating cable is extremely versatile and is safety
approved for wet locations. The durable UL listed systems feature an
industry leading 25-year limited warranty.
The 24-inch-wide floor warming mats are pre-terminated for use with
120 and 240 volts, and are available in various lengths.
To make turns when
installing the floor warming mats, simply cut the mesh backing (DO NOT
CUT THE HEAT CABLE) and then turn the mat to accommodate the layout. For
more detailed information about making turns with mats, see the photos and instructions
on our Install Heated Tile Floor web page.
The ComfortTile floor warming
mats emit no measurable electromagnetic fields due
to the shielded dual conductor design. This dual conductor
cable requires only one cold lead connection making it
easy to layout and install.
Warmzone offers the industry's most advanced thermostats for radiant floor heating systems.
These programmable thermostats are
specifically designed to control electric radiant
floor heating systems for maximum
comfort while minimizing power
consumption. Developed for
the modern home, the programmable
thermostat features a
large back-lit display and simple
user interface. Touch screen thermostats and touch screen with WIFI capability
are also available from Warmzone.
Each thermostat also includes an integrated Ground Fault
Circuit Interrupter (GFCI, Class A). The thermostat is an
electronic on/off thermostat for controlling temperature by
means of a sensor placed externally. The heat output is
switched on and off with a
difference of only 0.7°F (0.4°C).
The thermostat can be configured for
control of floor temperature and regulator
without sensor. It is compatible
with existing floor sensors by means of a temperature
setting, making it the best thermostat for renovation
Designed for ease of use and superior
performance, the thermostat and GFCI are dual
voltage models suitable for
120/240V, 50/60 Hz power supplies.
ComfortTile heat cable can also be purchased on spools. This grants installers even
greater flexibility in terms of installing custom shaped areas. See our
web page for more information.
